Though women still have a long way to go, these achievements inspire us to climb to other important positions a woman has never held, such as: President of the United States, Vice president of the United States, Head coach of a major sports team, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Director of the FBI or Director of the CIA, Senate Majority Leader, Catholic clergy, Member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of Treasury, or Secretary of Veterans Affairs, UN secretary-general, CEO of a top-5 Fortune 500 company (General Motors with Mary Barra at the helm took 6th line on the list). Also, these 23 U.S. states have never had a woman Governor: California, Nevada, Idaho, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Mississippi, Indiana, Georgia, Florida, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Maine.
I feel that we'll get there eventually too.
