Amy Nauiokas is Founder and President of Anthemis, the leading digital financial services investment and advisory firm, and Founder and Chair of Archer Gray, a media production, finance and investment company. She is a visionary executive, investor, producer and a recognized leader in innovation, strategy and management across a variety of markets and industries.
As a venture capitalist, Amy identifies and invests in early stage technology companies focused on the disruption of media, financial services and marketplaces. She has built a strong investment portfolio of best-in-class, high growth, companies. Current investments include Betterment, Trov, Payoff, Fidor, SeedInvest and We are Colony. Her exits include Zoopla, the UK’s leading property research website, Climate Corporation, which was acquired by Monsanto in 2013 and Simple, which was acquired by BBVA in 2014.
By combining venture investments in companies that are on the forefront of media disruption with the production and financing of prestige projects in film, television and theater, Amy has built Archer Gray to become a true leader in next-generation content creation and distribution. Her most notable projects include the 8-time Tony-award winning ONCE, the Tony-award nominated THE ELEPHANT MAN starring Bradley Cooper, 2015 Independent Spirit Awards-winning THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL, 2015’s MR. HOLMES, First Lady Michelle Obama’s favorite film of 2013, THE INEVITABLE DEFEAT OF MISTER AND PETE, and the upcoming 20TH CENTURY WOMEN written and directed by Mike Mills and starring Annette Bening.
Amy is a board observer for SeedInvest, board member of We Are Colony, and a board member of Smart Pension. In 2010 Amy co-founded the Bubble Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that partners with New York City schools to promote healthy living through wellness education. Amy has also served as International Board Chair of Make-A-Wish®, and is a member of the Dickinson College board of trustees.
