Jenny Lefcourt

Jenny Lefcourt is a Partner at Freestyle Capital, early-stage VC firm) where she invests in early-stage tech companies. She has been an entrepreneur, operator, board member, advisor, and investor of consumer Internet companies for over 15 years.

Prior to Freestyle, she co-founded (sold: KNOT) and Bella Pictures (sold: CPI). She raised capital for both these companies from top-tier firms and strategic investors such as Kleiner Perkins, Foundation Capital, Trinity Ventures, Amazon and others. At both companies she led sales organizations and created game-changing partnerships with companies such as Crate&Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, Neiman Marcus, Marriott and David's Bridal. At Periscope Advisors, Jenny helped early stage companies with general strategy, fund-raising, product-market fit, sales and business development

After graduating from Wharton undergrad and working for a big company in NYC for a couple years, Jenny Lefcourt became disillusioned with corporate life. But after a year of backpacking around the world, she moved to Palo Alto and worked for a few years at a consumer software company, helped launch its Internet division and lived through its IPO! From there, she was hooked on the Valley way--combine big ideas, smart people, hard work and a little bit of luck and great things will ensue. Jenny found her way to Stanford business school, but dropped out after her first year to co-found her first company, (bought: XOXO) where the team aggregated the gift registries of all the major retailers, and after that, Bella Pictures (bought: CPI).

Jenny later invested in, consulted for and/or advised great entrepreneurs and companies such as Minted, StyleSeat,, MainStreetHub, WeddingtonWay, and others before joining Freestyle.

Fund's investment verticals: software, information technology and mobile.
